Project on Race

For this bathroom our client's wanted something beige, with a freestanding tub, a custom double vanity and a custom laundry/storage moment. We were nervous at first about the all beige as most of us know beige can go wrong so quickly. However, with the right play on textures, dimension, shade of beige and size of tiles we really felt we were able to make this beige bathroom modern and classic. We went with a vertical stacked tile on the walls and a large format hex on the floor. We used the @bedrosian and the Makoto 2.5" x 10" Matte Ceramic Wall Tile in Tatami Beige and Makoto 10" x 11.5" Hexagon Matte Porcelain Tile in Tatami Beige. We topped the bench in the shower with a custom stone piece that mimics the look of light concrete from @ultimatestone and designed this custom vanity and laundry/storage unit that @tenarrows brought to life.

These fixtures are a total dream from @kohler and this tile @bedrosianstile has been in so many of our projects in various colors because we are obsessed with it. Feel like it is such clean lines yet because the stone is so natural, varied and raw looking it brings in this glorious texture without being too overwhelming.

This bathroom was a complete gut and took months and months of planning and work. The tiling alone took so much time as we had to pitch the shower floor tiles for the drain and we were set on a full tile wall behind the tub. However, for us, the time and work it took was absolutely worth it as this transformation is one of our favorites to date!
